Jeff Cooperman, Esq.
Jeff Cooperman represents community and condominium associations throughout the State of Florida as general counsel. Mr. Cooperman works closely with association boards of directors in connection with day to day operational issues and regularly attends association meetings to provide guidance on legal issues and ensure that all association measures are taken in accordance with Florida law and the association’s specific governing documents. During his time with the Firm, Mr. Cooperman has worked with association clients in regards to recall certifications and challenges, as well as disputes overseen by the Florida Division of Condominiums, and Mr. Cooperman has become well versed in the processes of obtaining loans, resolving issues with water management districts, filing DRI reports, and negotiating and entering into vendor contracts and other shared facility maintenance and cost-sharing agreements.
Mr. Cooperman is also currently a partner with the law firm, Solomon, Furshman & Cooperman, LLP, which focuses in developer representation.
Before joining the Firm in 2007, Jeff Cooperman practiced as a criminal defense attorney for the Law Offices of the Public Defender for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Mr. Cooperman earned his undergraduate degree in International Politics from the University of Denver and the received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Cooperman is a member of The American Bar Association and The Florida Bar Association.
